Mage

Welcome to the warlock tear sampling, tonight we will be featuring a wide selection of tears for your enjoyment. The tear sampling is also known as the Mage guide.

The Mage

The Mage is a ranged dps class that is known as a "glass cannon". We can put out some of the best numbers in the game but make sure you don't get aggro cause we don't really make very good tanks. This guide will cover the basics of playing a Mage as well as more in-depth raiding strats and rotations.

Leveling a Mage

One of easiest classes to level in the game because of the utility of our spells. Frost would be the first choice with arcane a close second. With frost you get a slowing effect with your main dps ability (frostbolt) as well as a water elemental (permanent pet with the glyph) when you get deep enough in the tree. I would suggest frost for all new mages until you get deep into the talent trees (level 50 or so)
