Using the combat logging feature of World of Warcraft, you can create combat log files that can then be uploaded to World of Logs for later analysis.

Logging Raids

First of all, download any one of these addons to start logging combat automatically:

LoggerHead - Medium memory footprint, lots of options
clsaver - Low memory footprint, few options

There is no customization given by WoW as to where the log sits. It is always in the Logs directory under World of Warcraft with the filename of WowCombatLog.txt.

Splitting Your Combat Log

Running a combat log for several days can make handling the combat log unwieldly. You can use the WowCombatLogSplitter to split your logs. Simply select the combat log you wish to split, select a rollover time (in case your raids go past midnight!), and split them up! They will be split in the same directory, one file per day.

Uploading to World of Logs

Visit World of Logs, and make sure you create an account. Our guild page is at http://www.worldoflogs.com/guilds/2157/. From here, you can apply to "join" the guild on World of Logs.

Once you do that, I will approve your application on World of Logs, and then you can start uploading logs via the Java client.

Live Raids

World of Logs allows you to upload live raids. Just start the Java client and select Start a Live Report Session. From then on out, until you stop the client, it will create a new raid on World of Logs, and everything you do is reported about once a minute or so. When you are done, just close the client.
