SMTR draws to a close|

I am writing to let everyone know that effective immediately, Six Minutes To Release is ending its run as a raiding guild.
I always said that I'd run the guild as long as it had remained fun. For many years, it had been, and we've shared some amazing moments together as a guild. From our first venture into Karazhan, to downing Vashj and Kael'thas before WotLK, to beating down the Lich King and smashing Deathwing to bits, to the guild's resurgence after transferring to Lightbringer.
Unfortunately, the time has come to move on. The writing has been on the wall for me for a while now. I made what I believe to be a pretty good effort to try to keep things going, but the last few weeks it just hasn't worked out, and this last week has shown me that the relationships I've forged with you are important, and are stronger than any guild or raid boss.
I know that I've been at odds with some people over the years, but there's very few people, and certainly no one in this group, that I wouldn't want to do it all over again. I think I speak for Solitha when I say that this guild accomplished more than we had ever hoped it could. It started with just me, her, and an idea. Not only did we do this for just a bit over 7 years, but I believe we were successful in creating a place where we could come and enjoy ourselves with people we love playing with. 7 years. That's a LONG time. Some of you have been with us from near the beginning and know of the struggles we've overcome together.
I won't be disbanding the guild, and everyone is invited to remain if they wish. About the only big change you might see is me and Solitha bouncing the guild between us or our alts. At some point, I will likely remove Roncli from the guild and make an attempt to raid with him with another guild.
As for me, I will continue to play WoW along with all the other games I play, but I just won't be doing it in any kind of leadership role, at least not for quite a while. I also play League of Legends, Diablo III, tons of Steam games, and now am also on XBox One. I'm "roncli" pretty much anywhere, including Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, SoundCloud, and much more. Look me up and keep in touch. :)
And as for Six Gaming... that is certainly not dead. We will have our last SMTR-themed podcast this Saturday at its usual time (11pm ET/8pm PT), but we do plan on rebooting the whole Six Gaming concept into something more community-oriented. Follow the Six Gaming page at https://www.facebook.com/SixGamingGG and we will post updates when we start changing things around.
Guys... I'm really sad about this. SMTR has been a big part of my life for 7 years, and letting go is not easy. But for many of us, there is something beyond SMTR that will outlive the guild. Our lives have been touched in so many ways, and I believe we are all better for that. Thank you all for everything you have given me, Soli, and each other. :)
